"EDUCATION MATTERS NOT THE ATTIRE"

As Far as I know the current topic spread almost in whole country is about the "HIJAB CASE." Hijab is a typical type of cloth wore by Muslims as a religious code. The controversy of Wearing Hijab is escalated in Karnataka. The Case came into light when SIX Muslim Girls from PU(Pre - University) College in Udupi were not allowed to cover their heads with Hijab on the top of their Uniforms. The college said that the uniform policy of their college did not allow for the Hijab. The college allowed them to wear Hijabs in the campus, but did not allow in the classes. The case was brought to the attention of the media by Ansar Ahmed, the district President of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, a voluntary organisation. According to 'Article 25' of the Indian Constitution Practicing of Religious Rituals or wearings. Each and everyone has an equal right to profess his or her Faith and religion. So the Conclusion was made that wearing of Hijabs in schools or colleges did not violated the Article 25. When the above Case was taken to court Advocate General Prabhuling Navadgi said, "Autonomy of Uniforms is given to colleges and we are not here to discuss upon such matters." Following the incident a group of boys at the government Pre university college in Kundapur went to college sporting a saffron shawls in protest against some girls attending classes wearing Hijabs. In this case too the Hindu boys wearing Saffron shawls were barred from entering classrooms. The Karnataka High Court, Hearing the Hijab Row, on Thursday ordered that no Religious symbols are allowed for the students until its final order, thus putting an end to use both hijab as well as saffron shawls in the school and college premises. In such atmosphere, all people are forgetting the most important aspect i.e Classrooms matters not the Dress code wore by Students.

As the Law states The Statue of Equality is Blind, it cannot see whether the person is rich or poor, Girl or boy, etc. So why such controversies..... This Question arises in the minds of people like me. Why the Schools and colleges are closed? Why the lives of Students are on stake? Why FUTURES are on stake? Just for one Small controversy!! Why the schools and universities are closed for Weeks and weeks? The main and important thing is The agitation should come to an end and peace and tranquility should be restored.

Looking at latest news as on today 14 Feb 2022 schools reopened this morning visuals poured in of students forced to remove their hijabs before entering campuses. As of latest news on 15 Feb 2022 still there is a lot of confusion of this issue. The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing petitions challenging the ban on hijab in some educational institutions in the state, on the fourth day. And it was declared that the court will once again assemble tomorrow i.e. 16 Feb 2022.

Here my point of view is all about the Teachings I learned from the Famous and historical Mythological story i.e. "MAHABHARATA". It seems that the history is repeating as of seen in the case of Disrobing Draupadi. One fears that India is fast getting hurled towards such a moment again. So me as a wise citizen of Future India wants all the Decision makers to look into the matter and find such a solution that would really protect everyone. None should feel that their caste is lowered or anything else. India is a Secular country and should remain as it is forever.
